Ruth Williams, affectionally known as “Aunt Ruth”, was an educator and a dancer. Her love for dance started at the age of 3 under the tutelage of Ella Gordon. As a young adult, she joined Heywood DuBois Company’s production of “Porgy and Bess”, in which she performed throughout the U.S. and Europe. Later, Ms. Williams founded the “Ruth Williams Dance Studio, Future Stars”, in the village of Harlem, where it remained a staple for over 60 years. She shared her love for all disciplines of dance to over 40,000 students, which allotted them the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, all while being the Assistant Chief of New York City’s Division of Day Care.

Now that’s Legendary! SALUTE!!!

Legendary is a handcrafted piece of jewelry made with 10mm Light Blue and Dark Blue Chalcedony with silver accents and a multi-colored rhinestone ball.
